My work is deeply personal. In the 1960s, my father was seriously injured on the job and lost his left leg. He returned to work and remained with the same employer for another 30 years—never seeking a lawsuit or disability, but committing himself to working harder and safer.

That example shaped how I view safety, responsibility, and resilience. After nearly two decades of experience across healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, and construction—serving in administrative, human resources, engineering, and safety roles—I realized in 2012 that I had more to offer than experience alone. I had a purpose.
